My name is Rafael Alves, and I am a Photoshop Artist, specialized in image post-production and retouching.
My journey began at the University of Mogi das Cruzes, where I graduated in Graphic Design. Although the diploma marked the formal beginning of my journey, my passion for the world of photoshop began much earlier in experiments I did on a daily basis. My experience is not just limited to image manipulation; I started working as a Graphic Designer at an advertising agency, where I learned how to translate concepts into impactful designs for around 4 years. This experience added an extra layer to my skill, refining my approach to ensure each project tells a unique story.
After working in design, I decided to pursue a career as a freelancer focused on Photoshop Artist, with a special emphasis on retouching images for the fashion industry and began to develop other expertise, working with renowned brands and various segments, I developed a meticulous eye for detail. Every pixel is an opportunity to enhance visual storytelling, and this is reflected in my daily approach. My journey into digital art was recognized by Lürzer’s Archive, one of the largest digital art magazines in the world, where I was highlighted as one of the “200 Best Digital Artists 2021/2022“.
Currently, I have the honor of being part of the team as Post-production Artist at one of the most renowned advertising studios in Brazil, Miagui. Working on projects with nationally and internationally renowned brands, I had the privilege of contributing to the team for campaigns that transcend borders.
